Tuesday, March 18th, 2008More WIPs and sketches
Thursday, March 13th, 2008Still doing some practice with animals, this time it’s a leopard, next up is a badger (thanks to my sis for all the suggestions, haha). Also, making some gruelingly slow progress on the Toph piece. I’ve also started work on a piece that should’ve been done almost a year ago, it’s a fanart of Luke from the game Tales of the Abyss for my friend in Canada. She requested it a year ago, heheh.
Dream Team
Sunday, March 9th, 2008I just bought 2 new sketchbooks, ones with hard covers, side binding, and white paper. The first one I bought actually had a yellow tint to the paper, which I didn’t quite like. It was binded by glue at the top, which made drawing on my table even more troublesome as I don’t have a lot of space on it to begin with. Scanning’s also a lot better now. Anyway, I’m now totally pumped up to draw in my sketchbook everyday as it’s no longer a chore! Haha, and here’s the first few sketches I’ve done. Oh Akemi, how I’ve missed you so!
By the way, I finally found this drawing I did 2 years ago! That’s my friend, Krissy, in the car and me on the bicycle. Haha, such good times. Anyway, I plan on finishing that along with another drawing for a friend…which I have yet to get started on…Sorry Melissa! I kinda doubt you’re reading this though, haha.

Tuesday, March 4th, 2008New All-in-One Printer
Sunday, January 27th, 2008
Just picked up an Epson all-in-one printer today. I don’t know why my brother and I didn’t buy one in the first place. Guess we kind of forgot when we saw that Canon scanner…

Anyway, enjoy the sketch of what will eventually be Toph Bei Fong from Avatar: The Last Airbender! This Epson scans a lot faster than the Canon and it makes a lot less noise too.
Just Moseying Along
Monday, January 21st, 2008
Ahaha, sorry, couldn’t help myself.
Okay, so today’s probably been the most productive day I’ve had in a while, well, along with yesterday. So, what have I been doing? Well, I’ll start off with work. I can’t say much but I think I should be able to say this without suffering any…repercussions, haha. Anyway, I’ve been working with Okashi for a while now as a background artist. Things were going at a pretty good pace, but we’re finally down to the last background artwork! HUZZAH! The game’s looking pretty good, Colleen put together a preview video and it looks pretty darn tight. Hopefully I can get this last piece done by the end of the week.

Moving along, I actually finished this sometime during the first week of January. It’s a logo I did for my friend back in Canada. At first I wasn’t really satisfied with it, I mean seriously, look at it…Haha, but since I’ve been looking at it for a while, I think I’ve grown used to it. He wanted something nerdy. I had other ideas but this one stood out the most.

And since we’re still on the topic of logos, here’s another. Well, it’s actually just part of another logo. I took out the rest of it because this is supposed to be just a sneak peak at a secret project that I’m working on with Kyle and his friend, Katie.

And for the last piece of art for the day (I have more, but I can’t show them. Well, at least not yet), I present the lineart to my submission for Imaginary Friends Studio’s art book, The Pepper Project. Pepper’s hawt, that’s all I have to say…and so is her friend, Wanda. Hahaha.
And to finish off this post, here’s me…attempting to play Final Fantasy IX’s Aloha de Chocobo. I can only play the intro for now, heheh.
